Laurel Blatchford

Senior Fellow, Delivery Associates

Biography

Laurel Blatchford is a Senior Fellow at Delivery Associates. She is also a former Senior Advisor to the American Flood Coalition, where she offered insight on the intersection of adaptation, housing, and social equity. 

Prior to her work with Delivery Associates, Laurel held numerous senior positions in the government and non profit sector, including as Chief Implementation Officer at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. She also served as Managing Director of Policy and Catalytic Supports at Blue Meridian Partners (BMP), a pioneering philanthropic organization focused on improving the economic and social mobility of families nationwide. She was also President of Enterprise Community Partners (2014-2020), and served as Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) during the Obama Administration (2009-2013) and as executive director of the Hurricane Sandy Task Force (2013).

Laurel also served in the administration of New York City Mayor Michael R Bloomberg. She is the founder of Uplook Advisors, a strategy consulting firm and has served on numerous boards and served on the Biden-Harris Transition Team as a member of the HUD/FHFA Agency Review Team. She and her family live in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, DC.
