Chuck Porcari

Senior Advisor

Chuck Porcari is a Senior Advisor to the American Flood Coalition, where he draws on his decades of experience in government, business, and non-profits to assist the Coalition Outreach team in its member recruitment and engagement efforts. In addition to his work with AFC, Chuck serves as Board Chair of the Maryland League of Conservation Voters Education Fund and operates a Maryland-based national consulting firm focused on the nexus of business, labor, and environmental issues.

Chuck began his career working as a daily newspaper and wire service reporter in New York before earning subsequent roles in the offices of both New York Governor Mario M. Cuomo and Maryland Governor Parris N. Glendening. Following these opportunities, Chuck held senior leadership positions at the nonpartisan League of Conservation Voters as well as the American Federation of Teachers.

Chuck graduated from the University of Dayton, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
