Ed is a Senior Fellow for the American Flood Coalition, contributing to the development and implementation of AFC’s strategic federal policy agenda to address sea-level rise and flooding.
Ed served as the Deputy Director of West Virginia’s State Resiliency Office, where he played a key role in creating and administering the state’s first flood resiliency plan and worked to enhance flood resilience in communities across West Virginia. Ed also has multi-sector experience in disaster resilience, construction, energy efficiency, and environmental compliance and permitting.
Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, with an emphasis on environmental protection, from West Virginia University.
