Sarah Gimont is the Associate Government Relations Director at the American Flood Coalition, where she advances organizational policy priorities and goals. 

Prior to joining AFC, Sarah was Associate Legislative Director for Environment, Energy, and Land Use at the National Association of Counties, where she advocated for county policy priorities related to energy and the environment at the federal level. Previously, Sarah worked at Summit Strategies Government Affairs, where she supported the firm’s work on transportation and environment policy.

Sarah received her undergraduate degree in international relations and modern history from the University of St Andrews in Scotland and is currently pursuing her master’s of public administration at The George Washington University.
