Originally from Sugar Land, Texas, Judge Duhon graduated from Texas A&M in 1992 and the University of Houston Law Center in 1995. In addition to serving as Waller County Judge, he currently operates his own law practice in Waller. He also serves as President of the Waller County Sub-Regional Planning Commission, as well as the Board of Directors of the Houston Galveston Area Council, and is Chairman of HGAC’s Plans and Projects Review Committee in addition to serving as Vice Chairman of the HGAC Special Committee on Regional Broadband and as a member of the HGAC Water Resources Committee and the Texas Association of Counties’ Legislative Committee. He is also a board member of the Waller County Juvenile Board, the Gulf Coast Rail District, and was recently appointed as President of Texans Against High Speed Rail. He has also been recognized as a Fellow of the Texas Judicial Academy every year from 2017 through 2020.
He and his wife Lisa love spending time with their six grandchildren.
