South Carolina Beach Advocates is a nonprofit organization that was formed in 2015 with the mission to educate the public, governmental authorities, and elected officials about the environmental, economic, and societal impact that South Carolina’s beaches and inlets have on communities.
The board of directors of the South Carolina Beach Advocates is made up of mayors and administrators from South Carolina beach communities. South Carolina Beach Advocates is the only organization in South Carolina formed by elected officials to advocate for South Carolina’s beaches and inlets.
