Sam Rasoul is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 11th District. As an entrepreneur, he has had several successful business ventures as well as being an active member of the community through service based organizations.
After completing his Master’s Degree, Rasoul became a small business owner, and later the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of a non-profit healthcare firm helping with maternal child health in East Africa. Equipped with an understanding that leadership is a bold journey for justice, he organizes community leaders through The Impact Center; his initiative to develop & empower new age leaders. Rasoul committed to decline any donations from special interest Political Action Committees and lobbyists in an effort to raise awareness of the control many powerful special interests have over the political system. He was featured in the Blue Ridge Business Journal as one of the Top 20 Leaders Under 40.
Rasoul holds a Master of Business Administration (focus in international business) from Hawaii Pacific University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Roanoke College.
