Mike Caruso

State Representative, Florida-22nd District

Mike Caruso is a member of the Florida Legislature, representing the state’s 89th House district, which includes part of Palm Beach County. He is also a certified public accountant (CPA) and owner of Caruso & Caruso. Previously, Caruso worked at accounting firms such as KPMG and Grant Thornton International. He has appeared as an expert witness in many local and national court cases as a forensic account.

In addition to his professional work as a CPA, Caruso owns several residential and commercial properties throughout the county and is the CFO of Delray Beach Executive Suites. He works with the community to make real change and understands that lasting change can only come from increased communication and a willingness to get things done.

Caruso has spent three decades using his skills to benefit the community, serving on many community organization boards. His past and current involvement includes serving on the Delray Beach Police Advisory Board, Delray Beach Parking Management Advisory Board, West Atlantic Redevelopment Coalition, as Co-Chair of the WARC Economic Committee, President of Villas of Ocean Crest Homeowners Association, President of Atlantic Grove Condominium Association, Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader, and being a Delray Beach National Little League Coach for 30 Years.

As State Representative, Caruso currently serves on the Energy & Utilities Subcommittee, Higher Education & Career Readiness Subcommittee, Insurance & Banking Subcommittee, Joint Legislative Auditing Committee, Transportation & Infrastructure Subcommittee, and the Ways & Means Committee.

Caruso holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from George Washington University.
