Michael Gottlieb

State Representative, Florida-98th District

Michael “Mike” Gottlieb is a State Representative for Florida’s 98th District, where he hopes to use his strength as a lawyer to help ensure clarity and precision in laws that are passed while he is in the legislature. He has practiced in the field of Criminal Defense for 25 years. He has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is Super Lawyers rated as well.

Gottlieb attended Nova Southeastern University Law School and the George Washington University, where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Political Science. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Gottlieb was an Assistant Public Defender for many years in the 17th Judicial Circuit in and for Broward County. Before government practice, he clerked at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office as a legal assistant.

Gottlieb routinely participates with many charitable organizations, including the South Florida Chapter of the MS Society, Debbie’s Dream Foundation Curing Stomach Cancer, Jorge Nation Foundation, The Epilepsy Foundation of Florida, and TKAE charity events among others. Gottlieb is also active in the Jewish Federation.
