Ken Russell is currently Commissioner for the City of Miami, District 2. He is also an entrepreneur and international business executive, who has done business in over 40 countries and speaks four languages. Russell is also a former professional yo-yo player and kite surfing instructor.
Russell, a believer that citizen engagement in local politics is vital to the future of the country, has helped bring people together throughout South Florida on major issues of local concern and has become a leader in tackling sea level rise.
Russell received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a focus on International Marketing and a minor in Japanese.
