Jorge L. Fors, Jr. is currently a Commissioner for the City of Coral Gables and will serve in this role until 2023. He is also a partner at Fors Attorneys at Law, where he focuses his practice on business and real estate litigation.
Previously, Fors served as the President of the Coral Gables Bar Association and is now an Ex-Officio Board Member. He is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association, Business Law Section and the Florida Bar. In 2018, Fors held a fellowship at the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar and served as a judicial Intern to Florida Supreme Court Justice Peggy A. Quince. From 2018-2022, he was named “Rising Star ” by Super Lawyer Magazine.
Fors holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida, and a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law.
