Rep. Jason Crow

Representative, Colorado

Jason Crow represents Colorado’s 6th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Crow enlisted in the National Guard to pay for college and went active duty in the Army following the 9/11 attacks. He led a platoon of paratroopers during the invasion of Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division and later joined the 75th Ranger Regiment to serve two tours in Afghanistan as part of the Joint Special Operations Task Force. From his time in combat, Congressman Crow earned a Bronze Star.

Following his military service, Crow earned a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and worked at Denver’s Holland & Hart. He served on the Colorado Board of Veterans Affairs from 2009 to 2014 before successfully running for Congress as a first-time candidate in 2018.

Congressman Crow has consistently led efforts to achieve our climate goals and protect critical infrastructure by integrating resilience into natural hazard planning and recovery efforts at the state level. Using Colorado’s Resiliency Office as a model, Crow spearheaded a bipartisan proposal designed to empower states, tribes, and territories in building resilience. His proposal would establish dedicated offices that incentivize multi-hazard risk assessments, ensuring that communities are better prepared to face future challenges.

Crow currently serves as Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability and a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
