Council Member Henry Wilson is a life-long resident of Pickens County. He is a small business owner and former Operations Manager at GE. Council Member Wilson is a United States Navy Veteran and currently serves as a Pickens County School Board Trustee, Youth Leadership Academy Board, Pickens County Planning Commission. Civically, Wilson works with the Pickens County Meals on Wheels as a Board Member, works for the Antioch UMC as a Lay Leader and serves the Dacusville Business Association as President. He is Chairman of the Youth & Education SDPC Biz. & Ed. Alliance, Governor of the Toastmaster Area and a Coach for the FIRST Robotics. Council Member Wilson has been married for over 25 years to his wife Amy Finley Wilson and they have two children. He a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from University of South Carolina, a BSc in Psychology & Sociology from Clemson University, and graduated with Master’s and PhD Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from University of South Carolina as well.
