County Commissioner of Jones County, North Carolina

Jones County Commission Chairman Frank Emory is a licensed general contractor, minister, real estate agent, and high school teacher, and was first elected as a Jones County Commissioner in 2002. He actively served the community as a volunteer firefighter, assistant chief, and EMT.

Emory’s commitment extends to youth development through scouting, Habitat for Humanity, and river clean-up efforts. Since 2002, Emory has contributed to the East Carolina Workforce Development Board (ECWDB), earning the “Don Harris” award in 2016 for leadership. He chairs the ECWDB Youth Council and will lead the ECWDB Executive Committee from July 2024. Emory’s leadership extends to various roles, including First Vice-President of the East Carolina Council and Chairman of the Jones County GOP. He serves on several local boards and committees, including the Civilian Military Community Council at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.
