Western Tidewater and the 64th District have always been home. And as long as I’ve been here, we’ve struggled to address the problems caused by sea level rise and recurrent flooding. That’s why I’m proud to join the [coalition]. This coalition will work to bring proactive solutions to the 64th District and help foster continuity between federal and state policies to make sure we are protecting the home we hold so dear.
Emily Brewer is currently a member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 64th District. She is a small business owner who started her career training first responders, law enforcement, and public safety officials, before starting her own marketing firm. Brewer now owns and operates a small wine and craft beer shop in Suffolk, VA.
Brewer serves on the Paul D. Camp Community College Foundation Board and is a past board member of Suffolk Business Women who work in Isle of Wight, Southampton, and Suffolk. She is a member of the House Militia, Police and Public Safety Committee, and the Virginia Citizens Defense League.
