DD Halpern serves as the Vice-Mayor of the Town of Juno Beach, Florida. A committed public servant, Halpern has been a member of the Planning and Zoning Board since 2017 and has held other public service roles with great dedication since her relocation from Long Island, New York, in 2011. Halpern is the Vice Chair of the South East Florida Coral Reef Initiative. Additionally, she is a founding member of the Juno Beach Ecology Group, reflecting her passion for environmental stewardship.
In her professional life, Halpern is an accomplished communications expert. As a versatile and creative copywriter, she excels in crafting impactful advertising and marketing content for both businesses and nonprofit organizations. Her skills extend to leading projects, managing meetings and deadlines, and translating complex information into engaging and effective communication. Halpern graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor degree in Psychology.
