The American Flood Coalition is a worthwhile organization to be a part of, and allows the Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS® the ability to be involved in the discussion regarding local flooding solutions, while still being able to hold steadfast to the REALTOR® party platform. Overall, our membership in AFC shows our commitment to being proactive on the issue of flooding within our community. It will also provide to us the resources to speak with other groups or municipalities experiencing similar issues so we can collectively explore the best solutions.
Since 1945, the Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS® (C.C.A.R.) serving Horry, Georgetown, and surrounding counties, is the primary real estate resource for members and the community. CCAR provides its members with programs and services, which enhance the member’s ability to successfully conduct business in a professional manner, promote cooperation among its members, advocate for the public’s right to use and transfer real property, and support a spirit of community service.
