Shane Massey is a member of the South Carolina State Senate, representing District 25 and assumed office in 2007. Massey currently serves as the State of South Carolina Senate Majority Leader. Massey earned his B.A. from Clemson University in 1997 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 2000. Massey is an attorney and was named a 2014 Aspen Institute Rodel Fellow. Majority Leader Massey is a Member of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, Education Committee, Judiciary Committee, Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee and Legislative Oversight Committee. He also serves as the Chair for the and Rules Committee.
