Amapola is the Coalition Engagement Director at the American Flood Coalition, where she advances AFC’s strategy for engaging and supporting the Coalition’s members as they seek to drive flood solutions.

Prior to joining AFC, Amapola was Director of Business Development, Community and Events at the Group of Fifty Foundation, where she led relationship strategy with some of the most influential leaders in Ibero-America. She brings more than 14 years of professional experience in membership and partnership management, event production, and policy management.

Amapola holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and administration from Universidad Central de Venezuela and a master’s degree in policy management from Georgetown University.
