Located in southeastern North Carolina in what is known as the Coastal Plains, Bladen County is an abundant county surrounded with natural recreation areas. Three rivers flow across the county, Cape Fear River being the largest. Fishing is an excellent activity to partake in throughout the county. White Lake attracts thousands of visitors annually. Bay Tree Lake is a growing private resort development. In addition, Jones and Singletary Lakes are state owned parks in which people can visit.
