Rachel Jackson is the Chief Operating Officer at the American Flood Coalition, where she works on organizational strategy and management as part of the senior leadership team.
Prior to joining AFC, Rachel served as Vice President of Operations at Transparentem, a nonprofit focused on eradicating human rights and environmental abuses in global supply chains. Rachel joined Transparentem as its first employee and grew the organization to more than two dozen staff working across seven countries.
Previously, she was at Bennett Midland, a management consulting firm that works with public agencies, nonprofits, and other civic organizations. She also worked as Senior Research Specialist at Innovations for Successful Societies, which focuses on election violence, police reform, and deforestation in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
Rachel began her career as a reporter covering U.S. and international anti-corruption enforcement. She holds a bachelor’s degree in politics from Princeton University.
