From the graveyard shifts at Denny’s to the briefing rooms at the Pentagon, State Representative Katie Arrington has had quite the journey in achieving the American Dream. As the Republican nominee for Congress in South Carolina’s First Congressional District, Katie is committed to helping others achieve the American Dream, truly serving the public, protecting our nation and South Carolina’s Lowcountry, and fixing the infrastructure and flooding problems that trouble the District.
Having raised a family, cared for wounded warriors, built successful businesses, and served her community – Katie is now working to become the first Republican woman in South Carolina elected to federal office.
The daughter of a CIA operative, Katie was taught from a young age the importance of service. As a military wife and mother of two, Katie moved from Army base to Army base before making Summervillle her permanent home nearly twenty years ago.
Now, a military mom and successful entrepreneur, Katie Arrington is a cyber security expert for the Department of Defense and honorably serves in the state legislature. She brings real-world business experience to the office and a dedication to putting her constituents first.
Katie and her husband, Rob, live in Summerville and are the proud grandparents of three.
