Mayor Patti King was elected as Mayor of Flagler Beach in 2024 following the tenure of former Mayor Suzie Johnston. A long-time resident and community leader, Mayor King brings with her a deep appreciation for Flagler Beach’s unique coastal character and a commitment to safeguarding its future.

In her role, Mayor King has emphasized collaboration with city staff and regional partners to balance growth with resilience. She is particularly attentive to protecting Flagler Beach’s environment, advocating for the care of parks, recreational areas, fragile dunes, and new community amenities such as the SunTrail system that enhance quality of life while preserving the city’s outdoor way of living.
