Blanca Velasquez is an Operations Associate at the American Flood Coalition, where she is responsible for budgeting, bookkeeping, supporting recruitment efforts, and coordinating with vendors.

Before joining AFC, Blanca worked as a middle school Office Manager, supporting daily functions that contributed to the school’s success. She also founded a nonprofit organization, LIVs Creative Legacy, that advocates for childhood cancer awareness and was established in honor of her first daughter.

Blanca is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
