Conservation Voters of South Carolina (CVSC) is a statewide 501(c)(4) nonprofit bipartisan organization, governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents.
The organization makes conservation and environmental issues a top priority among South Carolina’s elected leaders, political candidates, and voters. The organization is the only bipartisan, nonprofit statewide organization holding elected leaders directly accountable for a safe, clean, and healthy South Carolina.
CVSC is unique from other conservation organizations in its ability to make endorsements, contribute to candidate campaigns, and communicate directly with voters about the need to elect the best conservation candidate in their district. Conservation Voters of South Carolina works throughout the Legislative Session to educate elected leaders and the public, and to promote legislation that protects South Carolina’s natural heritage and special way of life.
