Dylan Behler

State Delegate of Maryland's District 30A

Dylan Behler serves in the Maryland General Assembly as the Delegate for District 30A, which mainly comprises the city of Annapolis and surrounding communities of Anne Arundel County. A native Marylander, Dylan Behler has spent his life dedicated to serving his Maryland community. He saw first-hand the good that government can do in people’s lives because the support that was provided to him and his family allowed him to go on to become a first generation college student.

Prior to serving as delegate, Dylan served as Chief of Staff to (now) Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth when she served as State Senator for District 30 and as the Legislative Director at the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. He also currently serves on the Board of the Anne Arundel County Library System and previously served as Chair of the Anne Arundel County Democratic Party. Dylan was appointed by Governor Wes Moore in February 2025 to serve as Maryland State Delegate, becoming the youngest member of the General Assembly. In the House of Delegates, Dylan serves on the Environment and Transportation Committee where he works on issues related to the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay, making housing more affordable, and ensuring that transportation needs are met across Maryland.

Dylan is a graduate from the University of Maryland and currently resides in Eastport, MD.
